Love is less me more you
By Carson, age 11
Love is less me more you
Love is always staying true
Love is being a good friend
Love is caring until the end
Love is putting in your effort even when things get hard
Love is writing your sick friend a ‘hope you get well’ card
Love is helping your family any how any way
Love is agreeing with anyone until the end of the day
Love is listening to your friends before they listen to you
Love is accepting people’s cultures and abilities too
Loving the animals on the ground and the birds in the trees
Loving a big, humongous elephant and a couple small bees
Love is giving the gift of joy in any way, shape, or form
Love is hugging on a winter night to help keep warm
Love is keeping all your promises and all the secrets as well
Love is helping your family ring your little dinner bell
Love is helping your friends no matter how bad they mess up
Love is offering to buy a little tasty fruit cup
Love is breaking through that wall of hate no matter how tall
Love is helping your friend make up a little bird call
Love is kissing on the beach or hugging in the shed
Love is snuggling up with your teddy bear when you get in bed
Love is praising your pet if they do something right
Love means don’t think about tomorrow just focus on tonight
Love means enjoy every day like there won’t be another
Love is merely getting along with your chatty little brother
Love is making a very strong bond with your friend
Love is knowing something good is just around the bend
Love means always being there no matter the time
Love means helping your family make a little nursery rhyme
Love is getting back up no matter how hard the fall
Love is establishing a little competition, that’s all
Love is encouraging your friends while playing sports or doing hair
Love means you know whatever happens, they will still be there
Love means hoisting a flag of family high up on a pole
Love means loving everyone with all your heart and soul
